TUV T8 lamps offer nearly constant UV output over the lifetime for maximum safety of disinfection and high system efficiency. Moreover, they have a long and reliable life that allows maintenance to be planned in advance. Features Short wave UV radiation peaking at 253.7 nm (UVC) for disinfection purposes Protective inner coating ensures constant UV output over the life of the lamp Long lifetime of 18,000 hours (based on operation with Philips electronic driver) High reliability with lowest percentage of prematurely discharge lamps on the market (90% of all lamps still operate with full output and quality after 15,000 hours when powered by Philips electronic driver) Special lamp glass filters 185 nm ozone-forming radiation High Output versions are available for optimum UVC output per lamp, thus reducing system size The warning light lamp indicates that the lamp is emitting UVCApplications Air disinfection systems in professional applications such as universities, hospitals, prisons and laboratories Top air and whole room disinfection equipment in hospitals, intensive care units and operating theaters Areas with low maintenance and/or destructive costs Fish ponds and Process water installations Safety advice PURITEC germicidal lamps emit high-intensity UV radiation that can cause sunburn and conjunctivitis.
