Ms. Gönül Product Name : Gönül Hanım Publisher : Ötüken Publications Author : Ahmet Hikmet Müftüoğlu Category : Turkish Classics Stock Code : 9786254081118 Number of Pages : 100 Size : 13.5 cm x 21 cm Publishing Date : July 2021 Cover Type : Hardcover Paper Type : 55 gr Holmen Language : Turkish Publisher : Adem Seatoğlu Gönül Hanım is a novel by Ahmed Hikmet serialized between 2974-3024 issues of Tasvir newspaper in 1920. It was first published as a book in 1971 (haz. Dr. Fethi Tevetoğlu, Devlet Kitapları, Milli Eğitim Publishing House, Istanbul, 1971.) and this edition is based on this edition as well. In places where there is difficulty in reading and interpreting, the serialized text is used. The Spelling Guide of the Turkish Language Institution was used in the writing of the words, and the words that were not included in the guide were translated in accordance with their originals. The meanings of the words that are difficult to understand today are given in the footnote. In case of repetition of the same word, the meaning of the word is not given in the footnote. Footnotes belonging to the author are shown with an (yn) note. The chapters that were difficult to make sense of were compared with the serialized text and it was seen that some sentences in the serial were not found in the book as a result of a printing error. These missing sentences have been added to the text. This work, which tells about the ancestral homeland of the Turks and how they established a civilization, and gives information about Turkish history, is also important in terms of literature. It is also the first novel to mention Central Asia in a fictional setting. The aim of "highlighting the national and spiritual values of the Turkish nation" as the basic understanding of the national literature period is also evident in this novel. More than 10 stocks are presented to be sold at the campaign price.
