4th Grade Workbook

The book in your hand consists of the original questions used by the International Kangaroo Mathematical Society (AKSF) in its competitions in different years. The International Kangaroo Mathematics Association delivers creative, lively and fun math problems to more than 7 million students in more than 90 countries every year. The competitions, which are organized every year in the third week of March, continue to be implemented in Turkey since 2015 with the support of members from different countries, including academics, associations, universities and the Ministries of National Education. Creative and entertaining math questions reach our students with the competition organized with the support of mathematics teachers, academicians and educational institutions from different schools from all over Turkey. We would like to thank our teachers, members of the Advisory Board, who voluntarily did not spare their efforts in the preparation of these books, as in every stage of the Kangaroo Mathematics competition. We would also like to thank our nearly 3000 schools that participated in our competitions as "Participating Schools" or "Exam Centers" and our nearly 10 thousand educators who made efforts to organize the competitions in these schools. The aim of our association is to make students love mathematics with logic and reasoning questions that are far from memorizing, creative, connected to daily life and fun, and to improve our students' mathematical skills through these questions. We hope that Kangaroo Mathematics will be more of a fun activity for you than a competition, where you get excited with different math questions.
