Questo libro include le lezioni di grammatica turca insegnate alla Facoltà di letteratura dell'Università di Istanbul. La prima edizione fu fatta nel 1958. Questa grammatica non è la grammatica della lingua generale, ma la grammatica della lingua turca occidentale. Mentre la grammatica del turco occidentale è riportata in questo libro, il turco viene studiato in uno schema grammaticale abbastanza nuovo.
